The Name of this fantastic romance piece is Doctor's Rescue .  About the author Lia Meadows in her words: " I live on a farm with many rescue animals, horses, mini pigs, donkeys, cows, dogs and a bird. Many of these animals require special treatment which I enjoy providing each day. Most of these animals came to my farm so broken from lack of care it was a miracle they survived. Of Necessity and Wanting by Sascha Akhtar Release Update

Hey book lover! Today I am bringing a Release Update for you. The book is published by 87 Press and the name of the book is Of Necessity and Wanting. It is written by Sascha Aurora Akhtar.

Of Necessity and Wanting by Sascha Akhtar

A little more about Of Necessity and Wanting:
This fiction work was published on 14th October 2020. It is a collection of lyrical, atmospheric stories of varying lengths set in urban Pakistan. The book is divided into three sections and there are 240 pages in this book. At its forefront are the concerns of people who are lower down on the metaphorical ‘chain’ of status and power, especially in the context of their symbiotic relationship with those they see as ‘other,’ ‘ privileged’ or 'fair.'

What reviews are saying:
Mohammad Hanif: "Sharply observed & tightly spun. Sascha has the eye of a poet & the ear of a wanderer. She writes precisely & lyrically. It’s a thing of beauty."

Nik Perring: "There is a familiarity in Akhtar’s characters that reminds us that, whomever or wherever we are, we share the same truths. Deliciously written, always entertaining and filled with striking imagery, Akhtar’s stories do the most magical thing - they show us who we are."

My opinion about Of Necessity and Wanting:
Sascha's work will encourage young talents to pursue writing as a career. I think the book is written targeting Pakistani and Indian readers. Karachi is the central attraction of the book. So readers from both countries will be able to find the connection very easily.

This Release Update is a part of the blog tour organised by Fly on the Wall Press. I would like to thank Isabelle Kenyon for giving me the opportunity to read this fantastic collection of short fictions.
